Many may not realize that the Twin Cities is recognized as the recovery capital of the country.  People from around the globe and all walks of life come to the Twin Cites to undergo treatment for addiction.  However, one of the greatest obstacles for chemically dependent people is the transition back into society after treatment.  In the past five years, there has been an increasing need for transitional housing in the metropolitan area.


We are excited to share with you the call that was placed on our hearts in early 2004.  Due to the remarkable growth and miraculous success rates of faith-based treatment centers like Minnesota Teen Challenge, we were moved to open ministry houses to assist in the development of a Christ-centered life.  The goal of Serenity Village is to provide a safe and spiritual environment for men and to cultivate their walk with the Lord and help them grow spiritually, physically and emotionally.  Because we know from past experience that we cannot do this alone, our inspiration to start this mission came from Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."


Our plan is to continue to develop private multi-housing sites throughout the Twin Cities to assist individuals afflicted with chemical dependency and gambling addiction to transition back into society.
