The first annual Recovery Celebration was held on September 29, 2006 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville, MN.  Over 2 thousand people attended the celebration.  Serenity Village was one of 30 plus ministries who had informational booths at the event.  The evening consisted of worship led by John Russell and the Hosanna Worship Team, a message from Governor Pawlenty, guest speakers Jay Coughlan, former CEO of Lawson Software, Dave Anderson, founder of Famous Dave’s and MTC's Pastor Rich Scherber.  The Minnesota Teen Challenge Choir performed and to end the event, a powerful testimony from Serenity Village’s Program Director Mark Horvath.
